Physical Description

Description The System

The prototype was designed as a sculptural showpiece. Its housing is reminiscent of a large crystal, close to six feet long and half as wide. It lays sideways, horizontally posed, floating above and parallel to the earth with its lowest portion about three feet aloft. It is supported upon the point of a cone-shaped base, balanced evenly upon it. Made of mirror polished and powder coated metals, dark and light, yin.... and yang.

Description The System

The Crystalline form has an opening near one end to accommodate the user’s face, with soft sculpted trim surrounding it. We call this the “SensePort”. Metal handles are positioned either side of the SensePort, within easy reach of the user. Going into operational mode, the user is seated, reclines, and then gently pulls upon either handle in order to move the housing into proper operating position. The balanced crystal pivots upon the cone’s point, floating first over the user’s legs, as he or she draws the portal toward their face, to become totally immersed in a three-dimensional kaleidoscope of the senses.

The side “EFX Cover” and the “Control Panel” match in design and material, and are a visual extension of the main EnterFace Assembly. Knobs, bezels and buttons are chrome or backlit.
